Throttle Body

Throttle body is a valve that controls intake of an engine. The valve is like a butterfly valve, being controlled by throttle cable or stepper motor to open or close the valve so as to control the intake of air due to different conditions. A throttle body as an assembly is mostly consisted of an actuator, throttle piece and TPS.
